sv solomon photography 0 Posted May 9, 2010 Window lighting? Great modeling of light and good exposure. There is something about her hair that bothers my overall impressions of this image. Looks as though it has had some careless touch up in this regard. None the less, a good photograph of a shapely female subject. Link to comment
wmc718 3 Posted May 9, 2010 Absolutely fantastic John! We must have the same likes for body types... I love hers. Very nice lighting too. I would probably do a little facial sharpening, but that's just personal preference. Could you send me your little black book of available models? ;o)Best,Michael Link to comment
dom1 1 Posted May 9, 2010 Art student begets Art. Well done. I agree with Michael. A "black book" would be good. But the truth is, John, you have a great eye for picking beautiful ladies. But better than that, you obviously have a way of making your models feel comfortable and relaxed. If that ability was marketable, or could be taught or transferred, well, you would be giving Bill Gates a run for the money. Aloha! Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted May 9, 2010 Jay, I must say I don't understand your remark, "it's not as my photos are"? It is my photo ..no problem if the photo is disliked however, everyone that feels like it must express their opinion. Everyone but me that is .. I am amused sometimes to read all the self critiques, read praise, that appear under some authors' works !As for the others above, several people seem able to relate to this picture which is always pleasing for an author of course, and the model too. Thank you friends for passing by. Link to comment

clp 0 Posted May 11, 2010 Yep - it's true - I'm back. :-) Although it seems that I am starting out from scratch with my portfolio as the PN rules made it difficult for me to make some minor administrative modifications to my name. That is a story in of its own. Nonetheless, here I am to share my work and enjoy the camaraderie of my fellow photographers. I will have to e-mail you with the details of my last year in abstinence. As for this lovely young lady pictured here, I couldn't pick a more perfect image to announce my return as she encompasses all that I love about our common interest in the study of the female figure. You have captured her exceedingly well here, not only in form, but also her self confidence. Excellent as always John!Your friend across the pond,Thomas Link to comment
