Details lost to antiquity. Hand held, probably1\125 @ f ll or thereabouts. Possibly Kodak Vericolor film. Converted to B&W due to wonkey colours cause by weird atmospherics that day. Best, LM.

Thanks for  adding the color version on the previous photo taken from the same high spot, somehow I like better the B/W in both of them, I think that the details are better expressed this way( and I like colors better if possible). This one has a very good DOF, and the scene shows how complicated an urban surrounding can be, and I would surly get  easily lost when on the ground....;-))

The colours in the previous post were the best of the three.  Weird atmospherics that day.  DOF really wasn't a problem as we were 1800 feet above the ground and I had the camera as close to the window as I could without actually touching it.  Good to have your thoughts on this one.  I really do appreciate your visits.  Best, LM.

Len, Toronto has undergone total transformation, since you took this shot. Is that the    Expressway 11A or Gardiner  Expressway? This area is now flourishing as downtown of Toronto. This image has already earned historical importance.I like the B&W tone.

Hi, Len, very nice perspective, crisp sharp, great layers, the beautiful mood &  sketch effect tell the story...fantastic composed!    Best regards

Thanks for your thoughts.  This is what makes posting so worthwhile.  In composing this one I tried to get as much as my 75mm lens would encompass after ensuring I included the Gardener Expressway and as much of the rail yards as possible.  The docks and a piece of Toronto Island were a bonus.  Best, LM.

the majesty of nature and the chaos of urban life, the contrast between them and how they stay togheter, are very well decribed in this photo. a point of wiew perfect

Thanks for your thoughts.  Almost missed you there.  That is indeed the Gardener Expressway. Google Earth shows what the area looks like today if you are so inclined to look it up.  You are right, quite a change.  Best,  LM.

The viewpoint is thanks to the CN Tower.  Shots like this one do become more significant as time marches on.  Today's photos from this location will be as interesting to viewers 30 years from now.  Thanks for your thoughts.  Best, LM.

Wonderful image, its amazing to see how much has changed in that area of Toronto now.

My GF's condo was at Queens Quay and Spadina looking toward the island airport.

Great shot!

Thanks for your contribution on this one.  Sounds like it has a more personal aspect for you than for most.  I think that's Bathurst St. leading down to the grain elevators so Spadina must be just out of the frame at the bottom of the shot.  Best, LM.

Colour has it's own appeal but, for this one, I agree,  B&W treatment works best for me.  Thanks for taking the time.  Best, LM.
