Guest Guest Posted May 8, 2010 The main reason I like this is because even though those are probably her fingers sticking out of the sleeve, they could be anyone's...even yours...so that adds just a touch of mystery to the shot.As I've said so many times before (I'm beginning to feel like a parrot), we see your usual fine colour work here, and a lot of attention to detail.Compliments to the model as well for the makeup job. gsphotoguy 3 Posted May 8, 2010 I second Jim's comment about the hand, a very nice element in the photograph. The mystery continues with the composition, having the model looking out of the frame. It works very well for me and compliments her expression. Beautifully made, David! Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted May 9, 2010 Color and light are very beautifully handled. Unconventional composition catches the eye immediately. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 10, 2010 Maurizio, Thanks for stopping by and commenting.Jim, Your comment about the fingers are interesting. I completely see this image in a different way now. You are correct. They are her fingers. The model is the star. I just push a button. Thanks a lot.Mark, You seem to like this for the reasons I do. That is very humbling. Thanks a lot.Les, Like Mark, you seem to see what I was trying to capture. That makes all the difference. Thank you. Link to comment
dabar 0 Posted May 11, 2010 The others have expressed most of my own observations regarding this image... however, I'll add another thought. The negative space on the right combined with the tilt of her head and accompanied by her expression make me think that she is concerned with what's ahead for her...All of which says that I Like It!
