The original is a vertical 3:2 shot. I've added white space in front

of the model, and then wrapped a black border around it. Think the

square format suits this image *much* better! -- what do you reckon?

Go back a couple of pictures in this folder (right-pointing arrow) if

you'd like to compare this version to the original.

I don't think I saw the 3/2 version. I am not one for cropping my photos out of the ratio they were shot in but after seeing this, I feel I might have to try. You may gather I like this a lot.

@ David: in fact, this is the opposite of cropping (I enlarged the original, not trimmed it ;-)
Interestingly, while I don't shy away from actual cropping whenever I believe it may improve the composition of my pictures, for some reason I was never a fan of the square format -- somehow I usually don't like it -- so it was a surprise for myself to discover that it suited this image, as well as this one for that matter, if you care to check (again, felt that something was missing from the original).
