Sensual and soft familiar hues, slowly melt into each each other; their intensity deepening, as once again they recognize, the dance has begun.   Without hesitattion,  the flame ignites, gently  it entwines, spiraling higher and higher, hungrily feeding off the oxygen that fuels their ascent.

Their time is short, their petals burst open in celebration as they face the all consuming heat of the Sun.  Their tango, this 'Sensual  T',  is a sight to behold, until finally, as their energy dwindles, their heads, heavy and spent,  will fall with exhaustion.

Soon, the earth will become their resting place as they mesh together; leaf and stem, stamen and flower.  The "Poet" has laid  His paintbrush down.  All the words have been said, their story is complete, there is nothing left to be told.

And as countless times before, He lovingly gathers them into His arms,   ---- until once again  His brush, wet with paint, meets His 'canvas' and the 'Masterpiece' begins again. The 'Dance of Life',  continues as if it had never missed a step.

(Many of these words Jana,(just the ones referring to the "Poet...speaking words, lovingly gathering them together, until there was nothing left to be said....and the card said he wrote with words of 'flesh and bone and leaf and flower') are bits and pieces of a Sympathy card I once bought......it was so beautiful as it described the 'Cycle of Life'.....at a time when no appropriate words could be said. Yet each word on the card was perfect and simple and true.  As I viewed your beautiful composition, they kept swirling around in my head, until they had to be said --- please forgive my 'impromptu babbling'......your 'Sensual T' is truly  a 'Masterpiece').....respectfully yours, Gail

Jana, your image is very nice indeed. wonderful colors and a composition that drags one in. this would be one of the nicer tulips have seen this year. nice work. I also appreciated Gail's comment almost as well as i like your image. i thought what a wonderful imagination until i read the words were from a card.

Wonderful work, Jana. I love the softness and blur, and yet this image has strong tones. It all works well.

Lovely and well titled. This is a treat to view, the colors and soft focus working well together. There is a feminine tenderness to this and it pulls something from my heart.

Take care, Pamela
