The Dance of Death

During the procession of Verges (Catalonia/Spain) there stands a

unique jewel of popular culture: the Dance of Death. In this dance,

five skeletons popping sound of drums, placed cross-shaped and with a

retinue of four characters who, with torches lit the box and bringing

the gloomy air that makes sense.

The main body of the Dance of Death is composed of two adults (the

scythe and the flag) and three children (twin Cymbals, bearing a plate

with ash, and the clock, clock without pointing a drill).
