Great use of light and shade makes a beautiful image and brings the best out in your model . I would suggest cropping a bit tighter above her head and a little on the RHS to maintain the picture proportions

@ Ken: it already is cropped from the top and I wouldn't really want to crop any tighter than that; like to leave some space above too.  However, I was thinking about cropping the RHS a bit tighter, so that to get the model's lit side off the center line, but then wasn't fond of the idea of flushing her shaded side right against the edge.  Solution? -- the opposite of subtracting -- add some more negative space: please check out the result here and let me know what you think:  Does the square format work for you?

Like most things cropping comes down to personal preference , I tend to crop tight .

The larger version is very atractive , the additional black space I think add some more mood to the picture , either way both versions are fine mono nude studies.

@ Ken: I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but now that I read your comment, I cannot agree more with you -- the addition of black space in front of the model created the mood, which is what was missing in the original (at least to me, as per my critique request above.)
