Ripley Falls - The Precipice

I had been waiting 10 years to be in Crawford Notch for a fresh snow coinciding with the falls running high. The area had been barren of snow for weeks prior to this image, but a fresh 10 inches of snow and spring melt allowed such conditions. While shots from the base of the falls seemed the obvious choice of compositions, I liked the feel and view just at the lip of the falls.Exposure Time: 1/8.0 seconds s;
FNumber: f/13.0;
ISOSpeedRatings: ISO 100

Well done, each decision you made leading up to pressing the shutter seems fulfilled here. This is really thoughtfully composed. Your remarks suggest you have had the shot in your head for some time, what a great payoff.

An interesting, well executed image which makes me want to grab the mouse and hold on to it tight - just in case. Regards, Sandris
