If we were talking here about a purely artistic approach your suggestion is certainly valid.  I'll leave every element as it is for comparison to any current photos from the same vantage point.  As a matter of fact I only regret not having a wider lens to have captured more as the cityscape has changed dramatically in the past 30 years or so.  Always a pleasure to have you visit.  Best, LM.
