Borneo is one of the most bio diverse places on earth.Yet the magnificence of its flora and fauna is being lost at an unprecedented rate. The battle to save Borneo;s rainforests is all but lost. Its rainforests are being levelled at the fastest rate in human recorded history. The Orangutan favours the parts of the rainforest that the palm oil industry wants.Soon they will all be gone because of this threat. Over 50% of all products found on your supermarket shelves contains palm oil.Its in products such as chocolate, ice cream bread soaps and shampoo's.Your new houses being built especially in the USA are using plywood,80% of all the plywood used in the construction of new homes in the USA is made from the timber of Borneo,s rainforests.

Birte your explanation is disturbing and very real!!! We are all going to experience a shift of perception and it has started in Haiti and Chile, Borneo is also part of the process of change the world have to experience in order to wake up!!!  Thank you for sharing.  Great work my friend. Warm regards.

A stunning photo with a real message. How do you time your shot? I'd like to know how long you waited to get this moment.
