Gail: The pathway is used in the winter too. In the early spring it turns to ice due to temperature shift (day and night). The ice burns out the grass which makes it seem more worn than it actually is. I live not far away from this place - some 10 minutes walk from my place :) - I have seen it so often but was never able to get a good capture of it. So I tried to make this. It is two exposures. One with slow and one with normal exposure. And then I make two layers and mask out here and there. Els nothing touched.
