John Peri 1,029 Posted May 1, 2010 Wonderful work Raymond, and though I almost never speak about the content, I must say that is a gorgeous chess set ! Link to comment
Elstad 8 Posted May 1, 2010 Thank you for the kind words John, it was a fun shoot. The chess set I got in Granada, Spain where the making of the pieces and especially the boards is a cottage industry. When looking at this iamge I now wish that I had turned the board so that the wood grain in the dark squares would point toward the figures also, as do the sides of the board. John Peri 1,029 Posted May 1, 2010 Hmm, yes I see, but it really works well like this too.Now if you want a partner to accompany you playing chess with the young ladies, let me know ..seriously once again, it's a really good shot (that's why I came back) ... the models really draw you in .. wmc718 3 Posted May 2, 2010 This is a great shot Raymond! The slight model distortion from the wide-angle lense also adds a sense of the game. Nice lighting too. Link to comment
