This horse came 4th in a horse endurance competition - I love how

gentle he looks in this photo - yet how strong he was in the race.

I think this is a great portrait.  Somehow you really captured his "personality" (equineality?).  The shallow DOF with the soft background that still yields interesting detail, is perfect... as is the beautiful sky framing him.
