Robert, In answer to your question, "Is there any more perfect form than a cally lily?" I think not.  The Callas and also Arum lilies would be my very favorite flowers to work with. Each one has a form all of its own. Here we have a creek bed full of them which runs right down into the sea. When they start to flower that is my favorite time of year for working with flowers.
