A shot taken of some Indo-Canadian ladies sitting out in the front of

the school where I teach. I taught one of their grandchildren. I

liked the expressions of enjoyment on their faces. Thanks for

stopping by.

This might work better if you cropped out the railing along the lower edge, foreground. It's a distracting barrier between the viewer and subjects. If you'd rather preserve the aspect ratio, the left edge could be cropped as well. The monochrome treatment is just a little murky. The faces are somewhat obscured, at least in the smaller JPEG presented on the ratings queue. Don't go overboard with contrast, tho', it's pretty good as-is and reads better in the larger JPEG view.

I agree with Lex. The railing and the left pillar have no use. I would also take out the pole on the right and the house in the background. Keep clicking.

Thanks so much for the feedback.  I agree with your comments.  Unfortunately I did not have a lot of time to get this hsot, and it was taken early when I first purchased my DSLR etc.  I really appreciate what you had to say, and your comments will help me on my journey.  Cheers.
