My first attempt at making minis/toys out of full scale machines,

using PS. This was a construction equipment auction that caught my eye

through the glass of a sky train window.

I've looked at this image a dozen times and couldn't make my mind up about it, but finally : - the appeal for me is the toy like imagery which was your intention, and which I think you have done really well. I think it must appeal to the child in me, I want to pick them up and play with them. The down side of the image is upper third which kind of destroys the iillusion somewhat, and now comes the really difficult bit, to crop or not to crop? Well maybe you've already tried it and it doesn't look right, but if you haven't it might be worth a try. I'd suggest about 33% just above the row of containers.

Regards

Alf

You might be quite right. I have cropped this image many times and it never seemed quite right to me. With the "mini" editing, this might be the best crop to suspend disbelief and all that. I will check it out tomorrow, because it is one of those things where I have looked at it WAY to much. Thanks for your time, Alf.
