Hi Jim,

I realize that every person has their own opinion, but I just cant see how someone could give this photo a 3/3! The sunrise colors are beautiful, and I like the warm light on the side of the buildings, and how far I can see into the distance. You were on that plane at the right time of day for a shot like this.  Very nice Photo!

I don't put much stock in the ratings given here on photo.net.  That fact that ratings can be done anonymously is not good, IMO.

Unfortunately the highly rated photos (usually reciprocally rated by a tight circle of friends) are the ones which get the most visibility here on photo.net

I was in the right place at the right time for this one.

Heat from the turbofan exhaust distorted the lower left section of the image (visible in the full size version) and I would have liked a little of Boston Harbor water in the foreground.  Next time I'll ask the pilot to alter his course a bit.
