Shooting Star

Unappreciative of most of my flower images this season, I looked back on

last year for inspiration and found this little creature that had appeal

because it plays on the aesthetics of the blur - bokeh. I seem to enjoy the

half spoken visual language that contributes, even in its lack of clarity, to

the depth and meaning of the clearly visible and distinct. I would appreciate

any comments and critique.

Wow! amazing colours and detail, the title is well chosen too as it really does replicate a shooting star, the very shallow depth of field contriibutes to the drama of the image.

Thanks, Jannica.  I probably can't take much credit for the post processing.  Except for cropping, the image stood on its own.  I think my only contribution was to be fascinated with the sensation I got from the depth of field.
