Yalcin,

She is a very pretty girl. I like the nice soft window lighting. Her expression is calm and peaceful -- very nice. The short lighting works very well on this girl. The shadows add interest and create a good illusion of depth within your photograph. The compositional balance is very good. The towel's color is subdued enough that is doesn't draw any attention away from her face. Your contrast is very good. She is separated well from the background. Even in the dark background you can make out detail. Her eye make-up is very good. It frames her eyes well and helps to make her eyes stand out. She has good catch lights.

Be careful of your focus. Her eyes are not in critical focus. If not making eye contact with the camera (viewer), the eyes should follow the line of the nose. It is natural to look where your head is pointing. If looking off to the side you should show what she is looking at or provide a reason that she is not looking where her head is pointing. It is best to have at least some of the whites of her eyes showing on each side of her irises. This helps to make her eyes look balanced. If this is not possible try to limit the amount of white showing on only one side.

Be careful of split profiles. You do not want the tip of her nose to come close to touching the far cheek line. You want to make sure the far eye is either completely showing or not showing at all. You do not want to have the bridge of her nose cut into her far eye.

If you would turn her body a little more towards the window. Her chest area wouldn't look as wide. The body seen at an angle to the camera looks thin, feminine and graceful. About 45 degrees to the camera is a very good angle to position the body.

Notice the neckline of her robe. The viewer's eyes will go to the “V” formed by the sides of the neckline and follow it down and out of the photograph because there is nothing there to stop them. You should try to crop below where the “V” of the neckline comes together so that the viewer's eyes have a place to stop.

The right (her right) side of her robe at the bottom is lighter than her face. It will draw the viewer's attention away from her face. You should tone that down a bit. You don't want anything to draw attention away from your subject's face.

Nice shot,

Mark
