lovely exposure... but i see this as a square-crop composition with the ceiling and the upper panel on the wall lopped off...

Thank you dear friends for taking the time to comment and Rajat this shot does not claim  architectural merit, you are right in your observation, however the verticals are straight and the photo is intended to capture the atmosphere of the room and I would not call this a square crop. Thanks.

Thank you very much for taking the time Rajat but I still prefer mine. In your version the heght of the ceiling is gone and you cropped the lady far too close to the edge, the depth of the room is reduced too. I also seems to me that the room is brighter the lights are far too obvious in your version.

It is actually better in reality Gail...a mixture of old fashion look and all the modern comforts and amazing service...full of genuine antiques too. My favourite hotel in Athens, I stayed there several times and I recommend it. -ds-
