thadley 15 Posted April 20, 2010 Beautiful - there are parts that make this like a painting - well done - I like it and I am no 'constipated purist' (*_*). Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted April 20, 2010 The details in the bark make the sale. I like the ample room on the left, allowing the branches to tangle at will. Link to comment

celasun 0 Posted April 26, 2010 Tarek, Tony, Jeff, Tolo, Mehmet Bey, David, Valentyn, Meir,Many thanks for your visits and comments; really appreciated. This was my first submission using my newest toy!The above is more or less what I saw/felt while composing and shooting. I am happy that it has been received warmly. The film I used was expired years ago and it had apparently been stored at room temperature. Still, after scanning it twice (one for highlights one for shadows) and combining (fusing) the two using a software tool; I felt as if I could just make it look like the way I saw it at the beginning... I am satisfied with the result. However, I am not sure about the relative contribution of the factors (me, the light, camera, lens, film, development, scanning, fusion, post processing) to this result!Does it really matter?
