Stephen, this is in Cebu. I'm sure you've been there a few times.

 Cebu is one of my all-time favorite cities, but I haven't been there since the 1970s.  I've heard stories that it has changed considerably over the decades.  I've dreamed of doing a coffee table book on Cebu (the entire island).  My late parents sponsored a child in the Christian Children's Fund program, and I visited her at one time.  It was a surreal experience to drive for a couple up into the hills (bukidnon, if I remember the term correctly) to a very remote small cluster of homes, talk with the family for a bit, and at one point the young girl went into the house and brought out a photograph of my young sister.  Halfway around the world to an entirely different world, and then find a photo of my sister -- I still remember vividly that experience.
