Lovely minatures tucked in with grape hyacynths. nice detail and color, good DOF to soften the shot. Well done. - Charles

Colton,  I am happy that you like this.

Charles,  It is always a pleasure to hear from you. These tiny little tulips were glowing from the sun and sitting in the purple they looked so pretty.

Jim,  Thank you...I seem to be around flowers wherever I go :)  This was the Skagit Valley tulip fields on Thursday inbetween LaConner and Mt Vernon. Most of the fields are turned but a few are still rolling as far as the eye can see.

Doc,  Lovely to hear from you.

Ovidiu,  Always a pleasure to hear from you.

Thank you everyone...warm regards, Pamela

This is stunning!!  I love the extreme contrast of the colors as well as the textures.....and you've nailed the DOF!  Great job!  It's finally turning spring here, and I'm certainly ready!

The rich vivid contrasting colours, dof and well positioned compositional elements put this amongst your best!.

Great Shot!

very nice colours.  I think you missed with the perspective a little.  Shooting from slightly a higher position would show the inside of the tulip.  Cheers, Micheal

A beautiful blend of colors......the yellow flower against the purple flowers in the fg and bg is perfect

What a terrific colour combination, the yellow blossoms really demands the viewers attention and yet the purple blossom at the bottom of the image contains just enough detail for identification.  You have produced a very appealing composition.
