San Gimignano

Before I opened this and saw the title, just from looking at the thumbnail, though I knew it was real people I thought to myself that it looked like an Italian statue. Great to see the title San Gimignano, a place I visited several years ago and fell in love with, though I stayed for several days in Siena. This has a casual but very intentional feel and the expressions, the limbs, the gestures, and the lighting really capture that statuesque quality so often found around Italy. The light is captured beautifully and I can feel its warmth. It's an Italian "tableau." Nicely done.
