I am no entomologist, but as best I can tell is this is a snipe fly. They

all look the same to me and should all be shown no mercy and

viciously swatted.

 

Photographed in a light tent using a bellows and reversed 50mm lens.

Magnification ratio is 4.2:1on the sensor
