In general I love b&w but the colour feels right for this one - I think it helps to emphasize the difference in texture between the car and the natural surroundings. Interestingly, it is usually technology that has straight lines and nature that has curves. Here it is the opposite.

Great photo of the old car and landscape, well done with the color and lighting & composition etc.. Well done. I also like to get out and look for these type of old things to photograph. Take care.

Kezia - Thank you! I think I prefer the black and white for the opposite reasons you mention. This is a bit more separation between the car and the surrounding landscape, but what I like about the B&W version is that the car becomes part of the landscape. The separation isn't so obvious.

 

Paul - Thanks, I was pleasantly surprised to find this, it was quite unexpected and my eyes lit up when I came across it.

Still a toss-up between this and the black and white.  I shall have to ponder further...Ray
