this was taken with a macro lens, on location in a wetland, these eggs

were photographed undisturbed by placing a strobe underwater, slightly

beneath the level of the eggs, then photographed from above with a

macro lens. Wetland conservation photo series...

I put the SB-900 in a zip lock baggie, immersed it and triggered it with the SU-800 commander unit... worked like a charm and I'll be using this technique for some underwater portraits this summer....thanks for the comment!
