I utilized a Speedlite 430EX as my main light. EXIF data shows that I used the following settings: ISO 100, Shade white balance, +⅓ stop exposure compensation, +3 flash exposure compensation, internal custom settings contrast-3, saturation+0, sharpness=6.
The camera was hand-held. The image is not cropped and lightened a little.

I am not really fond of shooting in bright sunlight. The harsh

contrasts and too wide dynamic range usually result in pictures which

look I just don't like. But when I have to shoot in this condition, I

often use controlled flash as my main light and position the subject

in backlight.
