" Whenever I need to leave it all behind

Or feel the need to get away

I find a quiet place, far from the human race

Out in the country

Before the breathin' air is gone

Before the sun is just a bright spot in the nighttime

Out where the rivers like to run

I stand alone and take back somethin' worth rememberin' "

Three Dog Night sang the tune, Paul Williams penned the lyrics. This haunting melody

still catapults me back to memories of my grade school years. Seems like a revelation

and I relate so well to the sentiment of this tune. Thanks for your thoughts. 5 verticals

stitched pano. The Larger preview is available!

Excellent image Mark! This fits the song perfectly. Very nicely put together!

All the best,

Neil

Mark... Both the song and the scene conjure up memories. I can't think of a thing that would make this any better... well, other than my usual wanting to "be there". I'm going to have to check into this stitching, excellent results... Mike

A stunningly beautiful piece of work! Colors, tonal range and composition were the stopping power, for this old pair of eyes.

Fine capture of spring scenery Mark. Just curiuos, why was it necessary to stitch together 5 verticals? Was it mainly for greater resolution? Cheers, -Clayton

Thanks Mike and Clayton! Yes, Clayton, extra resolution is my main reason, but since I don't have a super wide lens, I could never include this field of view with a single horizontal capture. That is indeed another positive aspect of stitching verticals!
