myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted April 12, 2010 At 10AM on "Holocaust Memorial Day", sirens sound throughout Israel and everything stops. It is a remembrance of those 6 million Jews, and 7 million Gentils who were murdered and of those who survived and of those who risked their lives to save them. Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted April 13, 2010 Meir, this is a truly wonderful documentary photo. Imagine if the entire world stopped everything for one minute at the same time to remember to act against evil. The world might be different. I brought a Holocaust survivor into my classroom today. He is 83 years old but was just a young teen inside Moravia when the Nazis came marching in. His father was taken to Dachau and forced to sign over the deed to the house and property. His uncle was murdered. And the story goes on. Link to comment
Saadsalem 74 Posted April 17, 2010 I can not comment on the subject of the shot so freely, but I could tell you this so freely,Every killing is a murder and a crime ,No matter whether the killed are six millions, less to a million and half, and further less to a one person.good shot,I think you have captured it from a pedestrian crossing bridge. Donna Stavis 0 Posted April 17, 2010 Why not comment on a nation remembering a time when 6,000,000 were murdered, including 1,500,000 children? Why hold back? Link to comment
