kaya_eli_in 0 Posted April 13, 2010 Very beautiful. The shadows are very nice and framing is good with wrists are being included from a good and spacious ratio for a change. The archaic look of the flash (?) really makes this one and the absence of eyes which is very original in a portrait goes well with the circular shape of the flash. His ring could be removed in my opinion since it serves no purpose therefore draws unnecessary attention. I would say that this photo has not enough contrast but having only white point at the light reflection of metal flash is a good trade-off. Best regards. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted April 17, 2010 Nice job with the pose. Kaya's observation on the contrast is well taken since, in the 1951 shot of a photojournalist by Andreas Feininger, a spotlight appears to have been used on the face & camera. Since imitation is the highest form of flattery I'd say you did your (apparent) hero proud with this trademark image. Best, LM. Link to comment
