Thank you for your comment Anand...EXIT. I am sure you recognise the Gaudi lines and she actually does not belong to that era...The shadow represents the past and it definitely points the way out...That's one interpretation..the other is...I just like the picture very much...:-). Rgrds ds.

I went into a bit of a trance while viewing this image, and then I had to remind myself to post a comment. I really like the angle of the sun for proving the shadows, very nice. I believe this image would work equally as well in b&w but some exposure adjustments might have to be made. Nice work.

I'm coming back to this image again and again, I can't explain it with words, perhaps due to the motion expressed by this young girl, or the sense of a purpose she has with this book in her hands, or the mystery of her destination where she is walking to. But I am haunted, definitely.
