Dear Umair, this is a beautiful portrait of a dignified woman who is ready to show her face. The ducks however look less willing ;-) Thanks for sharing. Karl

A very good portrait! I particularly like the warm light in this image. Judging by the ladies red eyes I wonder if she is suffering from a viral conjunctivitis which is often associated with an infection of the upper respiratory tract, a common cold, and/or a sore throat. I am no doctor but knew someone with this condition. Well done

you are right Tony, these people suffer a lot...above all, they suffer from our neglect, and dishonesty of the authorities! these beautiful commoners, the dignity and glory of the nations keep their pride even with sore eyes and bruised souls! regards!

Umair Bhai, normally we hold our prized possessions close to our hearts. She is no exception.Very good composition, light, exposure and colours. I agree with you about what you wrote to Tony.I do not know when & how this malady will be cured and this earth becomes a better place.

dear Sircar Ji, earth already is a wonderful place....misery can't be cured, but by presenting a truthful picture of Dignified victims of misery, we can atleast boast courage to thwart chaos and violence from lives of the common people of the world. At least can learn to admire their courage and urge to fight on in wake of depriviation and neglect! That's wonderful, isn't it? Regards!

Hello Umair,

A very interesting portrait of three in one - the woman as well as the two unpatient ducks.

A truly wonderful capture of life on a different part of the world. Her expression is more worth than 1000 words. The motive is original and captures the harshness of life as it is - in a very elegant and dignified way.

Very well done.

All the best
