The Old and the New on Easter Morning

Thanks, Tom. There's no attempt at art here, just unrestrained, over-flowing nature in all its abundance--thus the larger file if one chooses to click on it and scroll around in it, left and right, up and down.

The blown highlights are indeed a pain. The original file does show more detail on the lighter violets, but is then underexposed in other areas of the photo. This photo shows the limits of my post-processing skills where dynamic range is concerned.

Looking back at this one almost a year and a half later, I can only conclude that I should have bracketed the exposure.
