I wouldn't normally post this but I was happy with the results. Shot

hand held at 300mm @ 1/60. Your comments and ratings

appreciated.

Portrait of the Squirrel as a Young Rodent, yeah? This little guy is hilarious. I love the depth of field isolation and intense eye contact.

Another worthy addition to your brilliant portfolio.

How lucky were you to get this little fellow sitting up like this and waiting for the nuts to be given to him - I tried a few times but no luck yet - They are way too fast for me - maybe, I should try the nuts next time as well - heehee - Congrats, on a great capture - Regards

I think this little guy was as interested in you as you were in him.....great DOF....the precise detail in the foreground, plus the branch really add to the shot...the branch adds more interest and the color blends well with the coat of the squirell. And they're just so 'freak'in' cute!! Nice balance for 1/60th handheld....love it! sincerely, Gail

The perfect pose! How adorable is this little guy, I do hope that you rewarded him well with the nuts and said thank-you ;) Great shot Jim

All the best, Pamela

Jim.... LOL! Looks like this "little" guy has already had lots and lots of nuts. Great viewpoint. I really like animal shots on their level. I, too, am glad you posted this... Mike
