Tommy, I'm so flattered by your comment, but I think that I don't deserve it. On the other hand, I like too much this image, despite the low consideration of the others with few exceptions like you for example. Let me explain a bit more, when I pushed the shutter I was really looking through the viewfinder an image as you can see now on the screen. I've printed it, and believe me, I can be looking at it for a while. What I mean? Sometimes one take pictures for the others, and sometimes one take pictures for oneself. This is the last case. Thanks again.

Well, I certainly share in the pleasure. It's a gorgeous picture Carlo. Well apart from the phenomenal array of grays, leading to deep black, there is the poetic imagery, the interplay between what lies beyond and above, the ever changing sky and scenery, unreacheable, yet within grasp of the daily fluctuations in the texture of our lives.

Profound words John, your description about the emotional sense of this picture is accurate, an appreciated prize coming from a photographer like you.

this is epically beautiful, and something about it almost seems art deco to me. it does look to me to be photoshopped, but im totally ok with that, i appreciate masterful editing, and i like a bit of a surreal look too.  the effect acheived is marvelous, it looks like a painting but is a work of art nonetheless. i wouldnt change a thing. especially like the way you letterboxed this series.
