Como siempre un gran retrato y aunque la vestimenta y complementos deben lucir un esplendoroso color, este b&n. le da una gran fuerza. el resto como exposicion, enfoque, detalle y demas, son excelentes. This is a great photo Vicente, with very good focus and B & W work, i.e. a great tonal range. However, I feel that there is too much space in front of the subject, and that the photo will improve if you crop a bit from the right. I am attaching an example to show what I mean. Still, great work, congrats.

A very powerfull portrait and bw fit so well here,details make this very interesting,IMO too, I agree Tony opinion, that is a little bit much space in the right that distract the eyes.All my best to you and wish you to have a Happy Easter.

The intensity in the gaze, the tonalities, the "cultured barbarism" is just excellent.

 

It leaves lots of room to experiment with the crop. I mostly disagree with Tony on the "too much space" and just to show what's possible I added a widescreen version.

 

I like the original crop but I think a better crop is possible. (I like my widescreen version too but my guess is there are even better crops hidden in the original!)

It is a wonderful portrait. I am guessing the camra was hand held which makes the sharpness outstanding. I cannot add any more positive notes to what has already been said.
