A domestic scene.

One hundred percent natural in light and other ingredients :)

Comments are appreciated.

I love storytelling photos and I love yours too. The DOF is perfect, I like the mood of this photo a lot, comfort and security. Regards, Jana

I like how my eye goes to her face first and then slides down her arms straight into the dessert.

I am indeed saddened to see so many low rates on this image and when that happens, I return to the image to see if I am missing something and in this case i don't think so. A very small twist of the camera to the right to include a bit more of the lady would have been my wish but that is a minor personal preference. 6/6

Thank you all very much for your visits and rewarding comments.

Jana,

In fact, I was after (recording and presenting) the mood here.

I am happy that that is how you feel about it.

Tolo,

"Un cordial saludo", too :).

Jeff,

..and the dessert had really been special :)

I wish she could offer you some as well.

Who knows, maybe teleportation wil be the next big thing after The Internet,

and we might just be able to send you a little parcel :)

Tony,

It has been years since a photo of mine got 15 ratings; big number!

I like to read this as a good sign; this photo attracted enough attention.

It is likely that some of the attracted visitors saw only what was bothering them; hence their rating.

They might have seen something unconventional, bothering or even wrong!

You are of course right about the "twist" and here is the reason:

This was taken with a rangefinder, using a relatively wide angle lens (for that camera/viewfinder) at close range.

My experience with this particular scenario is limited. And, I could not judge the parallax error properly at that time.

I believe that is why my composition looked right on the finder while the lens itself was seeing something slightly different.

Still, the overall mood was exactly as I saw then.

I am very happy with this one, including that little blemish; that may even be making my photo prettier :)
