Thanks Janine! I have no clue of what the flower is and was hoping someone can tell. I will try to catch some folk at the Adubon office next to this field and ask them this afternoon when I go there to shoot these fellows again.

Good detail, especially on the head and the flower. I think the flower is some type of coastal sage.
