rcastanedav 0 Posted March 29, 2010 Sorry, I can't find any defect in this portrait. In my opinion sometimes we get obsessed with the idea of achieving photographies with a dynamic range that is technically perfect. I believe that in this case, with the combination you have used, you have obtained a great effect and a beautiful portrait. I like it as it is. Congratulations! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted March 30, 2010 Maybe if we knew why you thought there might be too much contrast, we would know how do direct the comments. Maybe it is best to say nothing and see what people offer. I do tend to agree with Rafael although I do find it all a bit too soft. Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted March 31, 2010 David, Thanks a lot for your comments. I will be honest with you, I soften the pictures a bit to compensate for some minor faults with makeup. I am traveling now and I use my laptop to edid new pictures. The screem is small and not as sharp as my monitor at home so perhaps I went too fare. regards, Andrew Link to comment
