jimvanson 0 Posted October 27, 2002 Great Shot! I suspect I could spend days printing this neg in different ways. Since it's TCN it'd be bullet proof. Post any other variations of the print you may have. Link to comment
koval 0 Posted October 30, 2002 The background was done on PS as high Key effect. It is my first attempt to get this kind of photograph and would like to know what is your opinion and suggestions. Thank you. Link to comment
javedrassi 3 Posted October 30, 2002 A bit overexposed but a nice portrait of your wife. can be corrected in PS. Link to comment
rimwalker 0 Posted October 31, 2002 Great cropping, very nice pose, beautiful wife, lucky man:) I actually like the fact that it is a bit overexposed, it gives a bit of an edge. Keep up the good work. Link to comment
mbuntag 2 Posted November 1, 2002 Good pose. I'd try to burn in more detail to separate the neck and shoulder. Link to comment
emi_grande 0 Posted November 4, 2002 i too would try to burn the shoulder to get more definition. also, her right cheek is too overexposed to contrast with the background. it's a little distracting that her hair goes off the image on the right and top. just nit-picking. interesting pose by your wife! jeff d 1 Posted November 25, 2003 no one noticed how odd her eyebrows are.... one low, one high... is it the effect of her hair over one eye? It makes the eyes appear somewhat skewed. the eyes always tell a story... what is the story? Link to comment
koval 0 Posted November 25, 2003 The comunication which is to happen between a picture and a viewer nned to elements to make it work . One is the picture to tell anything , two is the viewer to recive it ..What would ake you say that this picture is more then a portrait of my wife.? Why would you try to read a story on the image which has the only job to portray someone...I find the mag of such a portraits the simpliest in the world to pick up ..no hiden traps..However as I said - 2 elements...one sendind the other receiving..If only one of them fails the comunication will not happen ..form my point of view so far the image was doing exactly what it was meant to do ..regards. pk Link to comment
jay_patel 0 Posted July 13, 2004 Superbly executed. I love the idea of high key background. It make you focus on shadow areas of the potraits (the eyes, the hair, the lips). Link to comment
