gsphotoguy 2 Posted March 27, 2010 Under studio lights set by the workshop I attended I was photographing Juanita along with others. I set my zoom to 28mm and moved in close to her hand. I realize I could have cropped th ebottom diferently but don't dislike the way it is. Link to comment
wmc718 3 Posted March 27, 2010 Mark, this is a very interesting and enticing pose of a beautiful model. Since her feet are cropped anyway, I think the image offers much more impact if you just go ahead and crop at about mid thigh. As a three-quarter length, it forces the eye to take in all the important elements of this image. Try it and see what you think. Link to comment
John Peri 1,003 Posted March 27, 2010 Very good Michael, and I particularly like the hand in the forefront which accentuates the gesture of the dance movement. A very interesting shot, bravo. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted March 27, 2010 I have to agree! I love the hand. It nails this shot. I am not a great fan of bits being cut off. However, the feet are not in this image at all and so you do get away with it. I like it! Link to comment
Elstad 3 Posted May 15, 2010 A most marvelous image my friend... Full confession, I may just steal this pose. Do feel free to use mine too :=] Cheers, r. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 2 Posted May 18, 2010 All - Thank you all for the comments. This was from a workshop. She was posing for just a couple of us doing dance moves like this. I positioned myself to the side and asked her to do this gesture with my zoom at 28mm and fairly close. Link to comment
