Despite it being the end of summer here, our residen honey eaters are

still producing young after a plentiful spring / summer season. This

fledgling is from the fifth batch of babies.

Thanks for the critique Margo, sometimes I can just bang away at the shutter button and still be left wondering if I'm capturing anything of worth........

i know EXACTLY how you feel. especially trying to capture birds without a 300mm. i only have a 28-135mm and a macro lens, so needless to say, its hard to get any good bird shots. i'm sure it was easier to get this one, because its a baby, but you still have to lay out on the grass and be steady.
