Matthew Brennan 3 Posted March 26, 2010 Despite it being the end of summer here, our residen honey eaters are still producing young after a plentiful spring / summer season. This fledgling is from the fifth batch of babies. This is a 50% crop of the original frame. Please feel free to comment / critique. Click on image to view larger / more detailed version. Margo_Wade11664880111 0 Posted March 28, 2010 The crop looks about right to me. Well-balanced, well-exposed with good colour and DOF. Regards, Margo. Link to comment
Matthew Brennan 3 Posted March 29, 2010 Thanks for the critique Margo, sometimes I can just bang away at the shutter button and still be left wondering if I'm capturing anything of worth........ Link to comment
thistleandthat 1 Posted May 28, 2010 i know EXACTLY how you feel. especially trying to capture birds without a 300mm. i only have a 28-135mm and a macro lens, so needless to say, its hard to get any good bird shots. i'm sure it was easier to get this one, because its a baby, but you still have to lay out on the grass and be steady.MKN Link to comment
