Beautiful shot. Colors look very catchy, there is sudden change from peach to blue-purple. Is that common in your part of the world? Or you have to get very lucky. What kind of weather conditions causes that?

Thanks and regards

Pierre, El & Fernando - thanks for dropping by.

Lalit - Even early morning temperatures could get very warm in northern Philippines at this time of the year. The sunrise was coming from my back when I took this photo and also maybe a little over-saturation which I overlooked changed the color a little bit. And of course the graduated filters too. Thanks for your observations.

The horizon and nearly full moon (as well as the title) indicate a time that is very late in the day, yet there is a lot of light on the foreground rocks, as if it were still day. Perhaps, at least for eyes like mine, that a little less processing would produce a more natural appearing scene which, for some people (myself included), is a desirable goal. I, too, enjoy your seascapes and look forward to them.

Thanks Lester, it is interesting to know how the earth behaves in different parts of the world.
