The Forgotten

Very expressive photograph Birte. The clothes, dust and rocks tell the story. A well captured moment. It brings back the work I did on a Blurb book "Namata's Story" that was the story of a fatherless family in Uganda. In our comfortable western world it's difficult to imagine the lives of millions of other people around the world. The power of love is something we really need to grasp if we want the world we all intellectualize about but don't seem to have a collective will to make happen.
