Christal1664882414 0 Posted March 23, 2010 How I wish I had been shooting digital when I was last in Spain. This is beautiful....striking bold colors and compelling shapes typical of Gaudi's architecture. The green-ish sky gives this a more abstract look for sure, but I like it. I think it could be a bit sharper, but I suppose that's probably from the compression of the file. Nice work! Link to comment
karolostrivizas 2 Posted March 25, 2010 This is a nice tribute to the famous architect Dimitri. ………….It is an excellent artistic synthesis of shapes and lines with nicely contrasting vivid colours. ……The use of light and the play of shadows create a 3D feeling. ……..Best regards my friend…… Link to comment
photis santamouris 23 Posted March 25, 2010 I really like the 3D effect Karolos has already noted on this colourful synthesis. >Best regards and Happy Easter. Link to comment

peter.blum 0 Posted April 12, 2010 Yassus Dimitris, Thanks for your comments. This image is not only a tribute to Gaudi but also to the great surrealistic masters, as it reminds me of several of them. Wonderfully creative with a painting-like quality. Leaving a lot to the imagination. Interesting details, great colors and shapes. A picture to watch, deliberate and think.. And enjoy. Dimitris - no doubt your are gifted.. All the best Peter Blum Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted April 12, 2010 You are right Peter and thank you for that wonderful comment..Gaudi, for me, represents them all, he was unique. He employed many people to implement his designs who they themselves went on to become masters in their own craft…anyway, my friend, I could go on and on…what I found amusing was his reply to a lady that bought one of his apartments and complained about the curved walls, “where am I going to put my piano?” , she said, his reply was; “Madame, I suggest you take up the flute” . GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted August 2, 2010 Thankyou for displaying the original JPEG Dimitris. Your choice of rich, deep colors, blended tones, vibrance and light, have all come together to make this tribute a 'masterpiece' in design of it's own. This compositon has reminded me of many artists that I admire, and you are one of them! Well done, I love comp's that give me pause to think and 'dream'. Congrats on a fine work of art, sincerely, Gail Link to comment
