Nicely allusive and funnily creative - as you often succeed to be.

A nitpick: the lifted right leg produces a skin fold which I would have avoided.

Love your sense of humor David! We see her coming and going with her little butt in her hand. That right leg skin fold creates closure and stops the eye to help us return to the image. Cheers, Mate!

Next time around you might consider adding a little Plum Wine to go with the 'Plum Line.' ;-)

I love this image! Great humor and fun...

The left frame is enough to "create closure and stop the eye to help us return to the image". I still believe it would be better without the fold.

David I left a comment on PP. I think I like the BW better. It is typical David and I love it for that. I have to agree with the comments about the fold.

-Cheers Mate.

Luca, I am glad this amuses you. Nit picking is encouraged. It lets me understand what 'bothers' people when they view an image. The crease doesn't bother me. The way she was sitting meant the crease was there. For the pose to remove it, the result might have been a little more explicit. Thanks a lot.

Raymond, I was wondering if anyone would notice the shape of the plum. Thankfully someone did.

Dave, Plum wine? I only drink beer! (That's not quite true but please don't tell anyone.) I am glad this made you smile.

Owen, The reason I uploaded the B&W version on PP was because I knew you would prefer it. (I do think about you sometimes.) I am assuming you agree with Luca and not Raymond regarding the fold. Thanks a lot.

Thanks everyone.

I don't mind the fold, sometimes real outweighs perfection. I debated a bit if the shape of the plum was like a butt or labia. I now know what you intended but am still not sure. You and I have traded comments about body elements and frame edges. Here, where her toes touch the corner, it works for me. It provides a resting point with the leg leading back into the image. A beautiful photograph!

I do appreciate all your comments. Your words 'real outways perfection' are a little funny. I don't know of any woman who doesn't have a crease in this pose and so for me real is perfect! I hope you get my meaning. In any case, I appreciate all your comments. I am perhaps a little worried that you are not so sure about the plum. Don't worry... your secret is safe with me. Thanks again!

Agreed, real is perfect. What I was trying to get at is that people's idea of perfection, to me, should not replace reality. Stretch marks, freckles, birthmarks, wrinkles, tattoos, piercings, etc. all add to who a person is. I get that in some instances retouching can make an image more commercial but I tend to want to show my subjects as beautiful, as they are. I did a three hour session Sunday with a model who had on no make-up and was amazing. Her eyes and facial expressions were enough to make photographs I love.
