I really like the presentation and I think I've seen this same fellow this morning at ED park also :-) - the bird is a bit soft and I think it has to do with the F4 but that's also the reason you got the nice blurry background, I think. - Happy shooting!

Thanks! Tm: I could have played with a smaller f stop, should take the time to do so. Perhaps it would have been sharper to my taste as well, but as you know, that fence line threatens as does the paint over the graffiti on the concrete river bank in background.
