Art, a cheeky focal point here, i like it. You have put forth some really unique, dynamic images of this simple little daisy. Has been fun watching you on this wee exploration!

In my initial view, I disliked the focal range chosen here...what caused me to rethink it, was that I loved the positioning and creative usage of space. I couldn't look away, and then I began to see the true beauty of center and "tips" of the petals being in sharp focus compared to the rest of the flower. Now I must say that I have learned a great deal from this. Thank you! My eyes have been opened.

Ha! I had the exact same reaction as Josh. I actually learned from this shot. I was going to flippantly tell you that the shot was 'soft.' However, it is too engaging for me to criticize...really, really well done.

Hi Art, Daisies are one of my favourite flowers to photograph. You have done a really good job at capturing the essence of this Daisy! Best regards. Sarah

thank you my friends. It is great to have such nice comments as it helps tremendously to improve and better understand our own pictures. What I tried here is to drive the eye from left to right through all colour circles (yellow>white>pink>green) by focusing on the yellow heart. Hope you liked it.

Beautifully done! I like how certain areas are nicely focused and others are soft...it's dreamy and tactile and allows my eye to follow the form of the daisy and appreciate the textures. Very lovely image with nice composition and colors. Thank you for sharing. :)
