Thanks so much for looking at my shot. You have some great shots in your portfolio too. I especially like a number of the ones in your Single Photo portfolio.

 

We had an especially hard winter this year. Here in NC, we also have a shrub called winter daphne that blooms before anything else - usually in late February. The flowers are nothing special - tiny light pink blooms with a darker center, but the aroma is the sweetest smell on earth. I wish I could send that to everyone.....

Thanks Tom for the comments. I have been disappointed in the sharpness of some of my shots and am trying to work on it. I'm still learning my new camera and lens....this was done at f.22, handheld and using autofocus. Unfortunately, my old eyes aren't what they used to be! I actually miss the focus screen on my old Minolta X-700.

 

By the way, you were certainly a good sport concerning the recent POW comments. Personally, I loved the shot - as is. In fact, made me look at arches in the Catawba College chapel recently in a whole new light.
